ABOUT THE BAND
THE ENGINE (VROOM… VROOMMMM….)
The core of South End Circle is built around Varun, Santosh, and Bhavneet. They come from different places in India and different musical worlds (which is how they avoid ever having the same answer for “what are you listening to?”). Each member brings a distinct perspective drawn from different musical influences and lived experiences, yet the three operate as a single creative brain when it matters most.
Their dynamic is less a division of roles and more a constant, evolving conversation. How do they still end up making songs together, you ask? It's basically “Telepathy from Tirupati”. Or at least that's what they tell people.
DYNAMIC PRINCIPLES
- Single Creative Brain
- Evolving Conversations
- "Telepathy from Tirupati"
WHAT WE DO (BESIDES OVERTHINKING)
We make songs that hit hard and score background music that turns film scenes into emotional rollercoasters. We bring stories to life with sound, so your film, show, or brand doesn’t just tell a story, performs one with style, swagger, and a little bit of glamour.
And when we hit the stage, your audience will either dance like they’re on fire or trip while clapping (we’ve seen it).
IF YOU NEED A TRACK THAT SLAPS, A SCORE THAT MAKES PEOPLE CRY IN CINEMAS, SOUND THAT TURNS YOUR PROJECT INTO A POSTER-WORTHY MOMENT, OR A LIVE SHOW THAT’LL MAKE PEOPLE GO WILD… YOU’VE FOUND YOUR PEOPLE.
THE SOULS BEHIND THE SOUND
VARUN R
LEADWORDS, MELODIES & BASSLINES
Varun is a songwriter and composer at the heart of South End Circle, turning late-night thoughts into songs that hit where it hurts and heal where it counts. If a song feels like someone finally said what you’ve been trying to name, that’s probably him behind the scenes stitching words, melodies, and basslines together until everything falls into place.
Turns late-night thoughts and raw emotions into structured rock arrangements that connect.
SANTOSH C.
BLUES & KANNADA GUITARS
Blues is never played, it’s experienced. Santosh is a composer brings the long-lost love of the blues into Kannada, with guitar as his instrument of communication and music as the voice inside him. If a South End Circle song feels a little abstract, a little cosmic, and still somehow lands close to home, that’s probably him - straight from six strings into your ears.
Translates cosmic, abstract ideas directly through the strings of his guitar.
BHAVNEET S. A.
HARMONIC SPINE & SOLOS
Bhavneet is the group’s creative center on guitar, a composer who builds parts and progressions that keeps the songs grounded and brings the highs with melodious solos. When a track feels balanced, clear, and quietly locked in, that’s usually him shaping the harmonic spine so the rest of the music has room to breathe.
Builds the foundations and balanced progressions that give the rest of the music room to breathe.
